What does Status mean?

Status gives information about the availability of an item.

In Stock

Depending on the season, 30-70% of this catalogue are in stock in our warehouse. In stock items will be shipped less than 24hrs after payment has been received, provided it is a working day. Availability of these items is 100% guaranteed

Pre Order (Forthcoming releases)

The labels worldwide notify us a while before a new CD or LP is released, about their intention to do so. We get the chance to pre-order before the actual CD or LP has been released. If you order such an item, we will include your request in our order to the label, so items will be shipped to you just a couple of days after they have been released at source, and definitively before they reach (if at all) the retailers' shelves. Shipping of forthcoming releases will take place 48hrs after arrival in our warehouse, provided payment has been done. Availability of these items is 100% guaranteed around the specified date.

If you add such an item to your reserve list, we will remind you in due time, that the order to our supplier is being compiled, so that you can proceed with payment and have your item included.

Back Order (our suppliers' stock)

These are items, which we currently do not have in stock, but are included in our suppliers' catalogues. You may order these items from us and we order them in turn from our suppliers on your behalf. The date attached to the item is the date at which we have scheduled the next shipment from this label to reach our warehouse. As long as you order and pay more than 15 days before that date, your order will be included in our order to the label and it will reach our warehouse during the week of the specified date. The reason we need you to prepay for this item, is that it will be ordered on your behalf and we do not wish to keep it in stock in case you do not take it after having placed the order.If you prefer, you may add this item to your reserve list, and we will remind you in due time, that the order to our supplier is ready to leave, so that you can proceed with payment and have your order included.

Back Order products will be shipped 48hrs after arrival in our warehouse.

The availability of these items is almost, but not 100% guaranteed, some of them could be out of stock at source.

In case you intend to send a cheque or cash, we reserve the right not to forward your backorder or preorder until the check has cleared or cash has arrived. This depends on the marketability of the backorder items and on the history and quality of your relationship with us. In the rare case an item turns out to be unavailable when you check clears, you will be given the choice to order a different item for the same price or to get a full refund.

How does Search work?

We are very proud of our search machine. You may search, by artist, by title, by label, by format or make complicated searches by combining all these criteria. Just input a word (or part of a word) in the respective field, or choose from the drop down lists and then press "search"

Do the descriptions mirror your opinion about the music?

For a label to be included in this catalogue, we must generally approve of their kind of music and quality of sound. We present here the full catalogues of these labels, using in most cases the selling material, which the labels themselves have delivered for selling purposes, or include in their websites. In only a few cases, we have left the field empty, or we have filled in our own review.

How do you handle my Personal Data?

No information will be disclosed about you, neither name, nor address and telephone details, not even items ordered. Your email address or email addresses of friends to whom you email an item description will be kept in our customer records and will not be given further. They will be used only by lpcdreissues for informing you about forthcoming releases, or upcoming orders. You will any time have the option to ask to be removed from our mailing list or mailing lists.

Credit card details remain with the bank, if you pay online, or are being destroyed directly after payment procedures have been finalised by us offline. If you want us to keep your credit card on file for future payments, you will have to ask explicitely for it.

I wish to be receiving only part of your forthcoming releases e-mailing.

Every new subscriber receives automatically our weekly new releases emails. If you wish to unsubscribe, just answer such an email with the single word "unsubscribe". If you wish to be receiveing news about certain labels or a certain kind of music, please let us know also by answering a new releases email or at info@lpcdreissues.com . Please specify as accurately as possible your wishes and we will let you know the extend at which we can accommodate them in our existing mailing categories.

Cart and order related issues

How does ordering work?

When you enter the first item to buy, a cart is automatically created for you. As soon as you login in lpcdreissues.com, this cart is being assigned to you and you may recover it anytime, if you happen to loose the connection, or if you want to take a break from browsing, while not yet done with your cart. When you finish with your purchases, you confirm the order by saving it. Thereafter you are being directed further, according to the payment option chosen. If the line drops, if your credit card does not get accepted, or if payment is not completed for whatever reason, you can regenerate this saved order into a new cart.

Can I add an item to a saved order?

If you have not yet paid for this saved order, please login and go into customer tools, then click on "order tracking", choose the order number and, when it shows, click on "proceed with payment". Now it will be in your new cart and you may add new items, and/or pay online.

If you have already paid for this order, you will have to find out if it has been shipped. For this purpose you click on customer tools and check your order status. If your order has not yet been shipped, please email us with the order tracking number of your old order and the Ref numbers of the products to be added. Please state also the payment method you intend to use for the additional amount. We will contact you by email with payment instructions.

How can I regenerate my cart, which went missing?

You can only regenerate a missing cart, if you have registered during your initial cart session. For this purpose, you login, click on "show unsaved carts" and then click on the date of the cart which you wish to regenerate. After that, you will have your cart back!

You may use this feature, if you want to build up your cart in multiple sessions over a longer period of time. Just remember to login, so that our system can keep your cart details.

About Shipping

How long after placing the order will it be shipped?

24-48 hours after arrival of your payment or of the goods in our warehouse / whichever happens last.

How long does a parcel need to reach me?

Standard time required for a parcel to reach most destinations is less than a week for European destinations and 6-10 days for non-European destinations. In high season this could stretch to up to a fortnight or be as fast as 3 days in low season.Please note: We do not ship on Saturdays.

How does the shipping option "without jewel cases" work?

A jewel case weighs more that the average CD itself plus booklets. This option allows you to save a lot on postage cost. If you choose this option, we will unseal your CDs and place ALL its contents in a carton or bubble envelope. Since this is not possible with all CDs, you will see this option offered only in the cases, when the jewel case is not an integral part of the CD (mini-lp CDs, digipack CDs, CD boxes cannot be shipped without jewel case).

I ordered some time ago and still haven't received my order. What next?

If it is longer than 15 days after you have been notified by us that shipment has been sent and you still have not received your package, please check with your post office. 99% of the cases we are wondering about a parcel's whereabouts, it is in the post office waiting to be picked up, because the notification slip has been misplaced, not delivered or lost.

In the rare case, that your parcel has still not arrived after 20 days, please notify us, in order to initiate a Post Office search for it. For registered airmail, you will be entitled to full refund, as soon as the Post Office proves unable to provide a receipt signature on your side. Sorry, but we cannot offer any compensation for regular airmail losses

About Payment

How secure is ordering and paying through lpcdreissues.com?

As soon as the order is saved, after the credit card payment option has been chosen, you are being directed from our site's SSL pages to our bank's SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Thereafter you deal only with the safe bank environment, until you are done with payment. Neither us, nor our webhosts or internet providers have access to your credit card details. The whole transaction is taken care by the bank thereafter.

I have paid by credit card and you are asking for additional information. Why that?

Especially with large first-time orders, we will occasionally ask for additional evidence, that you are the actual credit card holder. This evidence will be a faxed copy of a utility bill, an ID card or a driver's license, for identity verification reasons. We are sorry for the delay, that this might cause, but we have to protect both ourselves and the international community from internet fraud. The associated delay will be minimal, if you are able to immediately send the required information.

I have paid for a forthcoming release which was supposed to be issued a week ago and you have not yet notified me about shipping. Why that? What next?

New issues are occasionally delayed at production, or a new delayed issue might have just missed our shipment from the label. In both cases, and as long as the item is not already on the way to our warehouse, you may cancel your order and your money will be returned to you.

About BackOrders & PreOrders

Is there a way to avoid paying well in advance for a back order item?

Yes, the reserve list is a very practical pre-ordering tool and not just a support of weak memories. Whenever you place an item in your reserve list, we keep it in our records and notify you when we compile the next order to this supplier. So, you will be able to place your order and/or send your payment in time for your order to be included in this shipment to us and subsequently in our shipment to you. In general, this will can be as close to actual shipping to you as 15 days.

What happens if I pay for a Back Catalogue item, which lateron turns out to be unavailable at source?

To start with, this is a very rare event. However it can happen, as well as it can happen, that, due to simultaneous sales, we run out of stock of an item, before we update the database. If you have paid by credit card, there hardly is any problem, because we will know that it is not available early enough to deny your payment. If you have paid by IBAN, cheque, Money Order, paypal or cash, you will be given the choice to order something else instead, or receive your money back


How often shall I expect you to contact me about my order?

We contact you by email every time your order changes status, i.e.

  • when the order is received
  • when payment is received
  • when a backorder item reaches our warehouse
  • when your order is shipped
  • whenever a problem arises with shipment or payment

Can I return an item for full refund?

All our products are new, unused exactly in the state the labels deliver them. We have taken extra care to describe every single item accurately, and care is being taken for protective packaging. In case you wish to return an item, please let us know in advance, because we first have to accept your reason of return. We definitely will not refund an item, because you did not like the CD you ordered, but we will definitely refund the return of a defective object, or of an item grossly misrepresented in our description. If we refund an item, it will be a full refund, including postage cost to and from you.
