KAD appears to be KADWALADYR, a very original britton band specialized in Progressive jazz-rock, and led by Konan MEVEL. "18,61" (1997) indicates the period of time required for the Moon to go from its northern position to the southern. A fact probably known by ancient West-European tribes five thousand years ago, and that could well the at the origins of megalithic sites such as Carnac or Stonehenge. The band still mixes again Celtic folk with Progressive rock ideas and a jazz virtuosity. Using a Scottish children ensemble (THE TONG GALLEIC CHOIR), the musicians give a new symphonic dimension to their melodious, sophisticated and powerful music. Famous Britton poet Gilles SERVAT and GONG keyboardist Tim BLAKE are guests in this CD. To be discovered !
