Accelerator is the debut album by British electronica group The Future Sound of London. It is widely regarded as their most club friendly album. First released in Britain in 1991, Accelerator includes the track that is one of the group's biggest commercial hits, "Papua New Guinea" this track became an instant club hit in Europe and the States and was featured in the soundtrack for the film Cool World.

Long deleted in the LP format, this MUSIC ON VINYL release represents this classic of electronic music for a new generation of vinyl junkies.

Accelerator was also the first time that FSOL worked with frequent collaborator, artist, Buggy G. Riphead who created the albums cover art, which is faithfully reproduced in this LP reissue.""
