This interesting b-action movie featuring Werner Herzog’s favorite actor, KlausKinski, and Janet Leigh of Psychofame was also released in 1967 in the US asGrand Slam. The glittering light of the diamonds, the real players in the movie,which is about a complicated heist, is handsomely wrapped in Morricone’s velvettunes. The Italian composer was at his apex in these years and it clearly shows!
