Since leaving the group Jay has continued touring with her own band Aston, and collaborated on many songs for artists such as Underworld, Leftfield, Richard Feldman, Rupert Hines, Marcella Detroit and Tim Holmes from The Chemical Brothers. Her co-writer on these tracks is David Colquhourn who had chart success with Ian Brown as he co-wrote both 'F.E.A.R' and 'Northern Lights'. Jay's acting career has also continued in tandem with her musical career and she is in considerable demand as an actress and TV presenter. This is her first-ever solo album with 13 tracks all written and performed by Jay and covering several genres that will appeal to both teenagers and her loyal fan base.
