First album by a new German band made of Holger GÖTZ (Vocals & keyboards) and Ralf LINK (Guitars & bass). “Another World” is an excellent neo Progressive album, with eight very diverse pieces (3 to 16 minutes). The vocals are near "WILDSCHWEIN" (GROBSCHNITT), Gary CHANDLER (JADIS) or Alan REED (PALLAS), while the guitars sometimes recall those groups, or MARILLION and GENESIS' "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway". Their music is cleverly mixing a sort of “Eighties music touch” that can bring them sometimes near SIMPLE MINDS or U2, as to straightforward melodies. Very professionnally engineered and produced, here is a great new band ! “Trojan“ (2002) is a concept-album based on the idea of a computer game, and the adventures and quest it offers. The music is a very fresh and melodious neo Progressive, with influences of MARILLION, PINK FLOYD, IQ… Suggestive atmospheres are created by the keyboards and sounds, helped by vivid and sometimes heavy guitar soli, sober and well-balanced sung parts. The voice often recalls Alan REED’s one (PALLAS). Well composed, well played: an excellent album.
