Aural Sculpture was a hugely underrated album by a group whom many unrightfully thought were only relevant in the '70s. Despite the somewhat pretentious title, the songs on this album are strong pop compositions.
It would seem the often heavy-handed Stranglers went into the studio and decided to have some fun, as evinced in 'Mad Hatter' and 'Punch & Judy'.
It also contains one of their biggest hits to date : "Skin Deep". On top of that this 180 grams double audiophile version also includes 11 (!) bonustracks!
