2 CD SET • These two albums were originally released on BGO as separate titles in 1992 ('Cellar Tapes') and 1993 ('Queen Elizabeth Hall'). Before this, they had only been available through Robert's mail order-only Harbour Publications. Now available for the first time as a double CD • 'Cellar Tapes' was written and recorded at home in Ramsgate in 1985/86 (using Revox tape machine) by Robert. The cover artwork (specially commissioned by BGO) was by Jill Calvert (Robert's wife). Remastering for CD was by Nick Watson at Sound Recording Technology, using the Sony 32 Bit Digital Processing System. This material was originally released as a cassette and sold through Hawkwind fanzines. It is fascinating as it shows the evolution of songs which later went to make up the albums 'Freq' and 'Test Tube Conceived' as well as many others • 'At The Queen Elizabeth Hall' was recorded live on 1st October 1986. Again, the artwork is by Jill Calvert and the material originally appeared on cassette as part of Robert's mail order-only Harbour Publications. The album was an extremely rare and collectable item and spanned Robert's entire solo career up to that point • Will appeal to Hawkwind fans.
