The band's second album, released in 1984, two years after their influential debut City Baby Attacked By Rats, cemented their role as leaders of the second wave of British punk - a scene that would eventually split and evolve with post-hardcore punk metal bands like Broken Bones on one side and thrash metal bands like Slayer on the other - but with both sides claiming GBH's early recordings as one of their biggest influences.
