Athens, Georgia produced an amazing number of bands during the early ‘80s, some of which (REM, B-52s) went on to superstardom, but true connoisseurs of the Athens scene have a special place in their hearts for this band. Singer Linda Hopper and bassist/songwriter Lynda Stipe (her brother Michael introduced the pair) only made a couple of EPs, but their childlike, driving music garnered extensive critical acclaim and even the involvement of such luminaries as Mitch Easter and Matthew Sweet. We’ve collected their complete studio work including the "Wow" Mini-Album and "Furthermore What" EPs along with 12 unreleased live tracks for the definitive band document (Lynda and Linda have contributed artwork and band memorabilia, too). And notes are by longtime boosters Robert Christgau and Michael Stipe! An alternative Collectors’ Choice Music exclusive. Studio tracks include "Lilting," "Brother," "Playtime," "Person," "Such N Such," "Guru," "Choukoutien," "Straight," "Giddy Up" and "Elaine’s Song." Live tracks (recorded 1983-1984) include "Random," "Is It?," "Whore Boy," "Round Is Funny," "Let’s Get Together," "Here We Go," "Sunday Morning," "Down by the Beach," "Shock (Sic Transit)," "Lilting," "Jumping," "Courage Courage" and a cover of the Talking Heads’ "Psycho Killer
