Saxon is a British heavy metal band formed in 1977 in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. They are considered one of the leaders of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement, which emerged in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Crusader is their sixth studio album, released on April 16, 1984.
