• Detroit funk and soul producer Dave Hamilton has become recognised in recent years for his wonderful productions for artists such as Little Anne and OC Tolbert in the Northern Soul world and Billy Garner in the funk one.• In the late 60s Hamilton released a rare and sought-after single on his own TCB label - ‘Pisces Place’/ ‘Cracklin’ Bread’. It was lifted from a proposed album called “Soul Suite” that Hamilton recorded but didn’t release. We gather together for the first time the tracks that were supposed to make up that album.• The CD also collects some of the funky Hamilton tracks that have proved to be dancefloor winners when released on various Ace compilations.• It includes instrumental versions of several released funk and soul classics such as Chico and Buddy’s ‘Can You Dig It?’ and Little Anne’s ‘Who You Trying To Fool’.
