After splitting with producer Mickie Most in late 1965, The Animals signed to Decca Records and took on Tom Wilson as their new producer, a change that skyrocketed the band into pop stardom - by 1966, the Animals were named the fifth most popular band in the world (behind the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Everly Brothers and The Seekers). This compilation features all of the band's UK Decca material, including four UK/US Top 20 hits and all of their Top 5 LP Animalisms !
