LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

Created in July 1995 by Fred (Guitar) and Charlotte (Vocals), GHOLES performs melodic death-metal that blends a brutal and speed side with some melodic and atmospheric moments. Thus, GHOLES renews with the great tradition of death-metal "à la Française", which means that it mixes a search for originality with efficiency. With such influences as CEPTIC FLESH, DEATH, DARK TRANQUILITY or even OPETH, GHOLES tries to take the listener to a gloomy, enchanting and sometimes romantic world. "Fleur De Soufre" combines an agressive death metal with a more melodic approach that could suit more atmospheric bands. It explains the great musicality shown by the band on its six tracks. Thus, GHOLES's music brings a new twist to the death-metal scene.
