Among the many great artists to bear the Vanguard seal of approval, guitarist Roland Prince certainly gets an extra gold star. In addition to producing two excellent solo albums for Vanguard, Prince frequently collaborated with other musicians, making a memorable appearance on Summit Meeting with Clark Terry, Elvin Jones, et al.
