Atomhenge, the home of Hawkwind's catalogue from 1976 1997 continue their series of reissues with the solo album by Hawklords keyboard player Steve Swindells. Recorded in 1980 for Atco Records, the album featured Steve's version of Shot Down In The Night (a hit for Hawkwind) and musical contributions from Hawkwind members Simon King and Huw Lloyd-Langton with former Van Der Graaf Generator bassist Nic Potter also contributing. The album was a powerful work which promised much in commercial terms but failed to chart in the UK (despite radio play). Long sought after by Hawkwind fans, the album is now finally available on CD for the first time on Atomhenge.
