Frijid Pink, on par with great names like Frost, MC5, etc., is a band that deserves rediscovery in the panorama of American hard rock. This Detroit band had a very direct and cutting guitar-heavy sound, thanks to the talents of lead guitarist and blues expert Gary Thompson. This debut album was a moderate success thanks to their high-quality cover of the classic "House Of The Rising Sun". The remaining tracks are all well composed, thanks to an agile and solid rhythm section and the confident Kelly Green whose voice adapts well to this hard blues rock.
