Manfred Mann is a British keyboardist and bandleader who moved beyond his ’60s pop hits into a more exploratory sound in the early ’70s with Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, fusing driving rock with prog ambition, blues grit, and jazzy accents.

Glorified Magnified (1972) is the Earth Band’s second studio LP, released on Philips on September 29, 1972. It delivers a rough-edged blend of hard rock, prog, and jazz-rock, pairing originals like “Meat” and “Look Around” with a standout take on Bob Dylan’s “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue.”
