The 1950 recordings of Pink Anderson cut by Paul Clayton were his first solo outings. They are coupled with fellow S. Carolina musician, the blind Reverend Gary Davis. His set is entirely of gospel songs including the chillingly titled ‘There Was A Time When I Was Blind’.
