WELCOME TO LPCDREISSUES
Perhaps the most well known film composer of the last century, the Roman born Ennio Morricone has written the scores to over 400 films. Although he is best known for his work in the spaghetti western genre (particularly the films of Sergio Leone), Morricone has worked in every conceivable genre, and drawn from almost every kind of musical style (classical, avant-garde, jazz, electronic, rock) to create his signature soundtracks. This 1964 WWII drama by Giuliano Montaldo also known as "The Last Five Days Of Peace" was one of Morricone's earliest works, although Morricone's trademark sound is already firmly in place.
