Crawling out of a Lower East Side sewer to record their first single “Bad News Travels Fast” in 1984, the Fuzztones, led by NY punk guru Rudi Action Protrudi, were the premature and unwitting leaders of the ‘60s garage-psych revival, using the term “grunge” light years before it became a registered trademark. This “best of” double LP features 25 of the Fuzztones’ finest tracks from the past three decades.
