An album of impressively accomplished prog-folk for fans of early '70s UK underground folkies à la Pentangle, Trees, Fairport Convention, Spriguns, etc. LP edition.Debut album from Glasgow-based eclectic popfolk-rockers, featuring musicians behind the best of Scotland’s contemporary music output, fronted by a pure English female voice. Line up includes Jim McCulloch (Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan), Dave McGowan (Teenage Fanclub, Belle & Sebastian), Raymond McGinley (Teenage Fanclub), Stuart Kidd (Wellgreen, Stevie Jackson), and Anna Sheard, who doesn’t have any names in brackets after her name as Snowgoose is her first public musical outing. The sound of her voice was the inspiration behind the formation of the band.
