THORGEN's story started in Laon in March 1998, through ADX guitarist: he introduced Cyrille BAILLY (Guitar) to Marc DAZIN (Guitar) of the band KEOPS (Formerly KARCASS). The two musicians decided then to start a new musical adventure with Bernard LEGRAND (Bass), also a transfer from KEOPS. THORGEN was born from this fusion. Its track-list shows multiple influences: ADX, KILLERS, DREAM THEATER, Michael SCHENKER, PANTERA, METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST... Answering the public's demands, THORGEN decided to record its first album "Heretic" in 2002, with its own means. This allowed the band to become more famous and to sign a distribution contract with the Brennus label. Here is then a masterpiece of melodic heavy-metal that you should, under no circumstances, miss !
