LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

PHAESIS is the name of a French Progressive rock band from the Eighties underground scene. The first album "Reminiscence" (1987) is a half-instumental work, half-sung. The musicians's predominant influence is really PINK FLOYD, both for the gilmouresque vocals and the lyric guitar parts. Melody is the queen here, and atmospheres are her most faithful vassals. Published four years later, "Labyrinthe" includes some passages a certain Mike OLDFIELD would have been proud of. "Hero" (1997) is the third discographical landmark of the band coming from the Meuse department, a real achievement. Not to be missed !
