Recorded live at the Exchange Cafe in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in July 1987, this performance finds McCoy Tyner and his trio in top form (Avery Sharpe on bass and Louis Hayes on drums) as they run through seven of Tyner's own self-penned classics like "Se Or Carlos", "Port au Blues", "Island Birdie", "You Taught My Heart To Sing" and the title track "Hip Toe".
