The title sounded like a greatest hits collection, and it was in a sense, except that the hits in question were somebody else’s, the Everlys once again applying their prodigious interpretive skills to songs made famous by other artists. Includes "Blueberry Hill," "I’m Movin’ On," "The Devil’s Child," "Trains and Boats and Planes," "Sea of Heartbreak," "Oh, Boy!," "(I’d Be) A Legend in My Time," "Let’s Go Get Stoned," "Sticks and Stones," "The House of the Rising Sun," "She Never Smiles Anymore," and "Good Golly, Miss Molly." Among the songwriters here are Don Gibson, Jimmy Webb, Hal David & Burt Bacharach…man, did these guys have taste! The complete 1967 album, first time on CD.
