The compilation album Hits! primarily focuses on Boz Scaggs material released between 1975-1980. He recorded some memorable songs at the end of the '70s, including hits like "Lowdown", "Lido Shuffle" and "What Can I Say". "Lido Shuffle", Scaggs' second-biggest hit off his critically acclaimed album Silk Degrees, was the polar opposite of "Lowdown". The Hits! expanded edition adds more to the likes of Boz Scaggs lovers. The 1988 ballad “Heart of Mine”, charting in the US single charts, is a classic from his later period which is included on this edition.
