Before the Sex Pistols were a glimmer in Malcolm McLaren's eye, the Saints were terrorizing the Australian countryside with their searing punk assault. Overcharged guitars and Chris Bailey's sneering vocals set the scene for ten furious slices of rock—a burning collision of the Rolling Stones and the Stooges. (I'm) Stranded clearly set the stage for the Damned, the Clash and a multitude of punk rock bands that would follow.
