Wah Wah Records proudly presents the amazing, never released before, second 45 recorded by Vértice in 1970!

Vértice featured ace guitar hero Max Sunyer (Tapiman, Iceberg, Pegasus...) and the members of Los Go-Go, including soulfoul vocalist Jordi Querol. They were signed to Diábolo, the seminal progressive music label from Barcelona that also issued the early recordings by Màquina!, Agua de Recaliz (later to change their name to Pan & Regaliz), Gualberto, Smash, Nuevos Tiempos, a.o.

On Diábolo Vértice released their first 45, Take Me Away / You're Not Real, on which they already showcased their amazing Eric Clapton / Peter Green eras John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers or early Fleetwood Mac's R&B sound with tons of guitar pyrotechnics and heavy mod Hammond galore.

The surprise came when thanks to Màquina's vocalist and archivist Jordi Batiste we discovered the surviving original masters for Vértice's planned second 45. What a sound! It is a superb follow u to their great debut single. A side is an explosive mod floor filler, while on B they explore the world of slower bluesy guitar ballads in the best Peter Green tradition.

The departure of Max Sunyer to join Tapiman ended Vértice's career, it might have been interesting to have a whole LP of their own compositions.
