The wicked Pickett moves his thing up north, and gets a nice batch of arrangements and session work from members of the burgeoning Philly soul scene. The whole thing was recorded at Sigma Sound, with players that include Thom Bell, Norman Harris, Bobby Eli, Ronnie Baker, and Vince Montana. The session doesn't really sound like a Philly soul album, but it is a nice chapter in Wilson's career, and a good way to refresh his sound. "
