Having released more than 150 albums, Dutch comedian and songwriter Herman Van Veen is a seasoned artist that has made a lasting impact on Dutch Pop culture. For the last 5 decades, through his often televised performances of music , theater and cabaret, he has touched the hearts of millions and continues to do so to this day.

He recorded his new album Kersvers (literally translated "Cherry Fresh") with Edith Leerkens and her son Marnix Dorrestein (drums). His daughters Anne and Babette also appear on the album.

Van Veen will tour in theaters all over the country toward the end of 2014, promoting his new album.
