Reissue from the vaults of the legendary SHANDAR label of one of the most characteristic works of the founder of repetitive music. The 2 CD contain a performance where Terry RILEY plays organ and uses the magnetophone as an echo chamber to repeat his oriental-sounding phrases into infinity, giving free rein to his inimitable brand of cyclic meditation. "Keyboards Studies" was recorded with the group of musical studies and realisations. During 24 minutes, Terry RILEY is performed by two pianists of the GROUPE D'ETUDES ET DE REALISATION MUSICALE, whereas Pierre MARIETAN is performed by the GERM with a wide sound palette (Violin, brass, cello, piano, horn & voice).
