Reissue of the first EINSTURZENDE NEUBAUTEN album, "Kollaps" was originally issued by Zick Zack in Germany in 1981, and now with two bonus tracks. This record seemed shockingly violent at the times of its original release - and still sounds pretty outright invigorating and not-necessarily dated. Formed in Berlin in 1980, they were one of the most experimental of new-wave bands, much more underground than the general Neue Deutsche Welle scene.
