Originally released in 1977, L.A.M.F. , the Heartbreaker's one and only studio album and testimony to the band's rapid drug-fuelled demise, has become a punk classic, bringing the legendary junkie anthem "Chinese Rocks" (written by Dee Dee Ramone) to vinyl for the very first time. The original recording of the album, however, was plagued by poor sound quality and in 1984, Johnny Thunders, with the help of Tony James, finally went back into the studio to remedy this problem. He remixed the original L.A.M.F. master tapes giving the newly mastered L.A.M.F. Revisited a sound that was, in Thunders' opinion, much closer to what the Heartbreakers were originally after. The order of the tracks was also changed, "All By Myself" was removed and "Do You Love Me" and "Can't Keep My Eyes On You" were added. For this new vinyl edition "All By Myself" has been restored to the track listing.
