Both versions—Italian and English—on one disc; band history, and lyrics too. As before, if you need more background, we give you this, more or less from the band’s web-site: “The first change in P.F.M.'s organisation happened before the recording of the third LP. They wanted to change their sound into something more peculiar and efficacious, so they decided to look for a musician who was able to sing. They considered many applicants (Sinfield suggested that they consider John Wetten, a good bass player who could sing quite well). One evening Franz and Mauro met Patrick Djivas in Rimini at "L'altro Mondo" club. At that time Patrick was an member of Area, a very expressive band whose sound was a mix of jazz, ethnic music and experimentation. A few days later, Patrick joined P.F.M. in London's Advinson Studios and took part in the recording of the band’s third LP "L'isola di niente" (the Italian version of "The World Become the World"). Patrick decided to join the band because he was fascinated by the opportunity to perform abroad. His versatile musical culture improved the band's composing ability greatly, and introduced some ethnic sounds to the mix (for example, on ‘La Luna Nuova’ or ‘Four holes in the ground,’ as it is called on the English version of the LP). Djivas was also very fond of jazz, and he shared with the band their love for R&B, rock and improvisation. "L'Isola di niente" (which was launched in Europe with an English title: "The World Became the World") sounded different when compared with the previous LP. I sounded more complete and solid. Through this new experience, P.F.M. entered its phase of greatest artistic completion, and readied themselves for greatness. P.F.M. could reach the level of being a top band because of their peculiar qualities: original songs, rhythmic solidity and virtuosity."
