Ennio Morricone is perhaps the most influential film composer of the second half of the 20th century. His musical scores were such an integral part of the spaghetti westerns of Sergio Leone (i.e. "Once Upon A Time In The West" and "The Good, The Bad And The Ugly") that Leone often had the music playing over a loud speaker during the shooting of each scene. This Morricone OST was written for the 1971 Italian political thriller "The Case Is Closed, Forget It!" directed by Damiano Damiani. It is one of his lesser known scores, but it hails from the height of Morricone's career and the maestro's creative circuits are definitely running at top speed.
