When you need to go for a change, let’s sail the seven seas with YOGAN ! This current French band invits the listener to discover the merry and outdated ambiences of the Brest or Lorient taverns. In fact, you may be surprised that those four young musicians don’t come from Britanny at all ! Their origins can be found in Joigny (East of France). One could say, a tribute from the East to the West… As for TRI YANN, and close to L’ANGE VERT (Less rock-flavoured), the music of "La Maree Au Galop" (2002) tends to favor acoustical and traditional instrumentation (Violin, guitar, accordion, banjo, djembe...), with Celtic and Irish influences. The electric dimension is also present, especially in the beautiful guitar soli. Singing on four of the fourteen titles, Denis GOURGUECHON contributes to the dynamism feeling of the whole. Let’s bet that this refreshing breath of salty air will lead you far away !…
