Following a run of ten Top 40 singles in the span of two years, Gary Lewis and The Playboys hit a career crossroads in 1967. Called on to actively serve in the Vietnam War, Gary Lewis used his brief leaves from the service to maintain some semblance of a recording career, recording as a solo artist. The result was his late 67 psych-pop gem 'Listen!', arranged by Jack Nitzsche."

Featuring his best recordings to date, 'Listen' Includes the spellbinding hit Jill (written by Happy Together songsmiths Garry Bonner and Alan Gordon).
