WELCOME TO LPCDREISSUES
The trio The Groundhogs were known by British music buffs of the era, but after Mick Jagger asked them to tour in support of the Rolling Stones, in 1971, their name became much better known. These songs were recorded during the Live at Leeds part of the tour and Jagger made a gift of the original tape to the 'Hogs' McPhee. There were 100 promotional albums pressed of this precious recording for American radio stations. After which, McPhee lost the original tape and it has never been relocated. This recording has been mastered from one of those very few original promos pressed. Recorded April 13, 1971 at Leeds University.
