Never one to stick to one formula no matter how successful, Scottish singer/songwriter/guitarist John Martyn has been in constant evolution over the past 35 years. His career took off in the mid ’60s (when he was signed as the first white artist on Chris Blackwell’s Island Records) and hasn’t slowed down since. Recorded live on February 13th, 1975 at Leeds University, the album was independently produced and released by Martyn himself (he signed and mailed out the original 10,000 copies from his home in Hastings). This double gatefold LP includes a 12 page booklet with a biography of the artist by John illarby and a complete discography. Tracks include: “Bless the Weather”, “I’d Rather Be the Devil”, “Outside In”.
