Long before her commercial breakthrough in the late 1980s, Lucinda Williams was singing and writing material that mixed folk, blues, and country with a personal, heartfelt stamp. This KUT-FM live broadcast was recorded for an Austin, Texas public radio station, combining highlights of her second album (1980s 'Happy Woman Blues') with a couple early blues covers and newly penned songs, some of which wouldnt find a place on any of her official '80s releases.
