Love Shortage is a Californian singer songwriter Fred Gardner’s sole album released in 1979. Fred Gardner talked about legalization of marijuana, the kidnapping of Patty Hearst, socialism, freedom and equality. Love Shortage can be categorized as a heavy political album considering its lyrics and motive, but the music itself is an awesome combination of country, folk, reggae and brass rock. Strongly reminds of Bob Dylan.
