"ProgLive Corbigny 1997" compiles tracks from the five groups who played during this festival. First to appear is MINIMUM VITAL, with its medieval and elaborated Progressive rock. Second to come is Jean-Pascal BOFFO, with his unclassifiable impressionist and picturesque music. Polish band QUIDAM plays refined neo Progressive, and includes the great female singer Emila DERKOWSKA. Former ARRAKEEN guitar-player Cyril ACHARD displays his instrumental Progressive heavy-metal with fabulous soli. And finally FINISTERRE, an Italian band playing an energetic and nervous Progressive rock dominated by the flute, and whose music can be compared to that of CAMEL, MARILLION or SOLARIS.
