One of the most influential British youth movies of all time" Mojo May 2003 Now comes the chance to buy into the image, look and feel of the culture that the Suede-heads and other Brit-Look stylists fervently follow.
As a piece of neo-realism the film is a fascinating document of working class life in London's East End in 1969 , and a section of todays taste makers / stylists have their heads turned towards that period for "the look and feel ". Clothing brands such as Ben Sherman and Duffer, eager to tap into this Brit-Look 'cool' have in Bronco Bullfrog the perfect showcase. Not least as Ben Sherman clothes were worn by some of the cast in the film. The films cast wore their own gear, three-button suit jackets, turned up jeans, steel toe capped boots, braces , chunky cardigans, button down shirts, crombies. They also helped on the script as much of the performance was improvised and came from real incidents they had experienced. So the audio is also important.
Thus this RPM release is about offering a piece of Bronco Bullfrog that the Brit-Look connoisseurs can own, and a user friendly reference source. It contains dialogue from the film, the music from the film, the directors own trailer for the film (not on the DVD), new stills (not available elsewhere) from the key scenes in the film that the stylists keep returning to, the bonus music recorded at the same sessions. This is a unique package containing The Going Song - film theme, Dialogue and background music, Joe Bronco out of Borstal and Welding/Pigeons
