After several years of building a cult following, Little Feat finally broke into the US Top Forty in the mid-1970s with Feats Don’t Fail Me Now and The Last Record Album.
This October 31, 1975 double CD features the band in front of their most loyal audiences, Boston having been a Little Feat stronghold since their formation. Broadcast on local rock station WBCN-FM, it features performances of songs from all of the first five Little Feat albums, including most of the material from The Last Record Album.
Led by guitarist Lowell George, it’s a showcase for the act that Jimmy Page cited as his favorite group earlier that same year in Rolling Stone.
