Eclectic Discs are pleased to announce the release this classic album by the legendary and infamous Edgar Broughton Band.
Parlez-Vous English was originally released on the Infinity label in 1979, under the moniker of "The Broughtons" and was a change in style for the band having a more "new wave" feel to the tracks and was housed in a striking sleeve designed by Hipgnosis.
The Edgar Broughton Band has been described as "proto-punk", "heavy rock" and "underground" throughout their career.
They were recently (and aptly) described as "a bloody good rock band".
March 2006 sees the first UK and European concerts by the original line up of The Edgar Broughton Band for over ten years.
