The Meters "People Say" was originally released as a single on Reprise records in 1974. The B-side however, the infectious "Funky Meters' Soul", has never seen a release as a single. The track was recorded during the sessions that resulted in their third album Struttin' (1970), however it never made the album. To be able to get this one on a beautiful jukebox 45 RPM single is like a dream coming true for funk 45 collectors worldwide!
