WELCOME TO LPCDREISSUES
An English singer-songwriter (1948–1974) famed for whisper-soft vocals, intricate fingerpicking, and deeply introspective, melancholic writing. Largely unrecognized during his life, his three albums later became hugely influential across folk, indie, and acoustic music.
Pink Moon is his third and final LP (1972). Spare and intimate—primarily voice and acoustic guitar, with a brief piano overdub on the title track—recorded swiftly with engineer John Wood. At roughly 28 minutes, it’s haunting, beautiful, and widely considered his masterpiece.
