Although Flash, formed in 1971 by ex-Yes guitarist Peter Banks, lasted only a few short years, they managed during their brief existence to develop powerful sound that fused the style of Yes' earlier albums with more pop-oriented progressive rock. Their first album, featuring Yes' Tony Kaye on keyboards, was released in 1972 and was soon followed by two more LPs, In the Can and Out of Our Hands. The six tracks featured on this album are taken from live recordings of the band's TV and radio appearances made during their American tour.
