Radio City is the second album by the acclaimed Memphis band Big Star, led by Alex Chilton. Released in 1974, it features some of the group’s most iconic songs, including “September Gurls” and “Back of a Car.” Though it was a commercial disappointment at the time, Radio City’s reputation has grown immensely over the years, and it is now hailed as a landmark in rock history by both critics and fellow musicians. Along with their debut, #1 Record, the album earned a place on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
